Who we are

Godly Money is published by GodlyMoney Institute Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022 with an operational office in Austin, Texas. We are not an investment adviser or a broker, we do not manage anyone's money, and we sell nothing — the education is free and funded as a charity, which is the only way we know to keep the incentives clean.

The team is small. Two directors carry the editorial responsibility today: Ivan Yevtushenko, executive director, a three-time founder who ran Ukraine's largest financial-media outlet (over five million monthly readers) and is a member of the Kingdom Advisors community; and Sergei Vinder, director, fifteen years in product and marketing across a dozen web and mobile products. Both are evangelical Christians; neither is a licensed financial professional, which is exactly why every claim here has to stand on a source rather than on our say-so. How an article gets written

A topic reaches the queue because people are actually asking about it — search data, reader email, and questions that come up in church. From there: research against primary sources, a draft, a fact and Scripture check where every statistic must name its source and year or be cut, and a human review before anything goes live. Time-sensitive figures carry the date we last checked them, and articles get revisited rather than left to rot.

We use AI tools in research and drafting, and we say so plainly. No article publishes without a human reading it line by line, verifying the Scripture references against the text, and taking responsibility for it. The full standard, including what we will never do, is the editorial policy — it is a promise to readers, not a marketing page.

What we cover

Ten topics, chosen to match the shape of a household's money life rather than a keyword list: giving , saving , spending and debt , protecting what you are given , housing , family and money , work and vocation , habits and contentment , investing , taxes, benefits and rights . Where faithful Christians disagree — tithing on gross or net, debt, which industries to screen out — we present the positions and the reasoning instead of declaring one of them the Christian answer.
